Center your life on Him.
It’s so much easier to live holy
when you’re not living for yourself.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.

"

You are so tired, and you just don’t have the strength to put the effort into anything; it’s as though you have been swimming, and now you are drowning. These are the moments when we cry out, these are the moments when all seems lost, but you’re not alone, you’re never alone. Christ was the one who called you out unto the water, He will be the one who picks you up out of it.

Have heart, beloved, you are going to be alright. Jesus does not delight in your pain, but He delights in restoring you; and He will, a thousand times over, until all tears are wiped away.

Instead of asking yourself “What would Jesus do?,” start asking yourself “What is Jesus doing?”

Jesus is alive and the Holy Spirit lives inside of us. Too often we consider Jesus as a past memory instead of a present reality.

#now all of you know how fucking ridiculous you look with chopsticks in your hair  #confucious didnt die for white people to put chopsticks in their hair (via)

Confucius (at least learn to spell his name right) also saw the education of women and women’s rights in general as a terrible sin

Hairsticks have been in use for thousands of years, and have been found in cultures of the Ancient Egyptians, ROMANS and GREEKS. Although some of these have been jeweled, luxury items, such as the gold hairsticks of Egypt, more common, wooden hairsticks have also been found in cultures such as ROME, suggesting that they were in wide use amongst people regardless of their financial standing. However, the most influential culture on modern hairsticks has been Japanese, and in particular the use of decorative Japanese Kanzashi.

Although many modern hairsticks draw more on the elaborate approach to the design of Kanzashi more than on the simpler designs for functional pins, Kanzashi are used within a far more rigid and traditional environment. Kanzashi are frequently floral in design, especially those dictated by the changing of the seasons and used by Geisha.

HER IGNORANCE OF HISTORY MAKES HER LOOK STUPID IN THE PICTURE.

>implying Americans say “mate” like the shitish and assies

My favourite part of this post is “Confucious [sic] didn’t die for white people to put chopsticks in their hair”. Confucius died of natural causes aged 72. He wasn’t some sort of Chinese Martin Luther King, he ddn’t go down in a hail of bullets, and he almost certainly never saw a white person in his life.
